Hello, my name is Diana, I am a Counsellor, Art Therapist, and Psychotherapist, I work with individuals, couples, families and groups. I work with children, adolescents and adults from all walks of life.
I use a holistic framework that integrates biological, sociological, cultural, psychological and psychodynamic factors.
My practice is trauma-responsive, culturally sensitive and person-centered and is inspired by a range of modalities including attachment theory, systems theory, existentialism, developmental psychology, sensorimotor psychotherapy, narrative therapy, body-based therapies, creative arts and mindfulness practices.
I endeavor to create a safe and empowering space for individuals, couples, families and groups I work with to explore their inner ecosystem and gain deeper self-awareness and understanding of how relationships and experiences have shaped their sense of self, life and sense of belonging.
Prior to becoming a psychotherapist, I worked for several years in the Youth and Adult Mental Health field, Out of Home Care, Addictions, Homelessness, and in specialist Family Violence Services.
I am registered with the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia, Registration # 29772.
