Hello, my name is Diana, I am an Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist, I work with individuals (children, adolescents and adults) from all walks of life.
I use a holistic framework that integrates biological, sociological, cultural, psychological and psychodynamic factors.
My practice is trauma-informed, culturally sensitive and person-centred and is inspired by a range of modalities including: attachment theory, systems theory, existentialism, developmental psychology, sensorimotor psychotherapy and mindfulness practices.
I endeavour to create a safe and empowering space for individuals I work with to explore their inner ecosystem and come into a deeper self-awareness and understanding of how relationships and experiences have shaped their sense of self, life and sense of belonging.
Prior to becoming a psychotherapist, i worked for several years in the youth and adult mental health field and in the family violence sector.
I am registered with the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia, Registration # 29772.
I have a Diploma of Community Services
I hold a Bachelor of Counselling and Psychotherapy.
Currently studying Masters in Therapeutic Arts Practices (Art Therapy).
